VERITY QUADE: Arranger/Musical Supervisor
Verity has a First Class BMus (Hons) from Trinity College of Music, and a PGDip and DipRAM from the Royal Academy of Music.
When she is not on stage herself, Verity works regularly as a musical director and arranger for everything from solo cabarets to full-scale productions and is in constant demand as a singing teacher and vocal coach at the highest level. She is also an experienced session and concert singer and has sung backing vocals for Dionne Warwick and Josh Groban, performed in two Proms, one album and one tour with the John Wilson Orchestra, and appeared on two Pirates of the Caribbean soundtracks.
As a composer/lyricist, her album "Scrapbook - the songs of Rob Archibald and Verity Quade" can be found on iTunes and Amazon.
Her main body of work is as a performer and shows include:
Carousel at the London Coliseum, Kinky Boots at the Adelphi Theatre, Sweeney Todd at the London Coliseum, Sunny Afternoon at the Harold Pinter Theatre, Sister Act at the London Palladium, Awaking Beauty at the Stephen Joseph in Scarborough, Strictly Gershwin at the Royal Albert Hall, Honk! at the Watermill in Newbury, The Sound of Music at the London Palladium and Jerry Springer, the Opera at the Cambridge Theatre. She was runner-up in the BBC Radio 2 Voice of Musical Theatre competition in 2005.
In an effort to stretch her multi-tasking ability yet further, she took on her biggest role to date starting in August 2018 – Mum (or Mama V) to the sunbeam that is Thea.
